Virtual Journal Club

Adrian Blaj, Specialist Registrar in General Adult Psychiatry
02 May 2007

The issue identified by Beard & Cornwall in their letter highlights even more the importance of those Journal Club presentations which still take place in the face of adversity. As I always felt it is such a pity these discussions/presentations invariably enter the gates of oblivion, I propose organising a central point of collection. In that respect I have provisionally set up a Psychiatric Journal Club repository at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/JournalClubPsychiatry/Membership is free and can be gained either through an invite or by directrequest via the website (closed group). Interested parties can upload their files directly in the format of their choice and discussions can also be posted via the regular web or e-mail facilities. All of these activities are archived and therefore can act as evidence of personal development. If anyone is interested in this project and requires furtherassistance please let me know at: adblaj@aol.com ... More
