Peer review information

Review process

This journal uses a single-anonymous peer review model. This means that the identity of the authors is known to the peer reviewers, but the identity of the peer reviewers is not known to the authors.

After review, a recommendation is made by the Handling editor and approved by the Editor-in-Chief.

Revised submissions may be subject to the same review process as original submissions. Decisions on revised submissions may also be based entirely on the assessments of the EIC and Handling Editor.

For any questions about the peer review process, please see our review process page or email the Managing Editor at bjp@rcpsych.ac.uk.
