Congratulations to Clara Santato, Polytechnique Montréal, on being awarded the 2018 MRS Communications Lecture. 

The award is in recognition of excellence in the field of materials research through work published in MRS Communications: “Natural melanin pigments and their interfaces with metal ions and oxides: emerging concepts and technologies” with Eduardo Di Mauro, Ri Xu, and Guido Soliveri (Published May 11, 2017 – MRS Communications volume 7, issue 2).
