Pyrgomorphella arachidis, sp. n.

♂ (Type). Of medium size, slender, finely rugulose.

Antenna of 17 segments, shorter than head and pronotum together, thick, slightly flattened and scarcely broadened at the base. Fastigium of vertex long, parabolic, ratio of its length to the width between eyes, 1·8. On the lateral sides of head behind the eyes there is a series of callosities forming a longitudinal stripe, which continues on to the lateral lobe of pronotum.
