Powers of Ten - movie

“Powers of Ten” is a short film from 1977, directed by Charles and Ray Eames and based on an earlier book, “Cosmic View” by Dutch educator Kees Boeke. It depicts the relative scale of objects in the Universe on a logarithmic scale, zooming out and then in by factors of 10. Professor Philip Morrison provides the narration. The film was selected for preservation by the U.S. National Film Registry of the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically and aesthetically significant”.
