Our main goal of this study is the investigation of depression prevalence between addict people and normal people. We decided to show main emotional problems of addict people.

This investigation is a descriptive study that 30 normal people and 30 addict people as the accident samples by Beck Depression inventory test and with clustered way are collected. We have gained results by SPSS and statistical analysis.

Our study shows that 33.3% of people are normal and 66.7% of our cases are depressed, 51.7% are married and 51.2% poor, 36.7% young, 31.7% low grade educations and finally 83.3% of them are employed. 45% of cases have major depression.

Our research explains that there isn’t meaningful relation between depression, age, occupation, marriage situation, income and education status of addict people and their addiction. We suggest decreasing the reasons of depression in humans.

Suicide risk is greatly increased in schizophrenia. Our study aim was to investigate interactional factors related to the recognition of suicide risk in patients with schizophrenia.

This case-control study focused on 66 schizophrenia patients who had committed suicide Study methods included in-depth interviews of next of kin and interviews of patients that had been saved from suicide and perfect information and statistics were extracted from patient's files and documents in fatemi hospital and analyzed by chi-square.

Studies show the most prevalence of disease is in male, citizens, single persons, uncaptioned and the average age was in the mid-thirties. Most participants had an under high school diploma, (56/1%). Almost 60/6% of the sample had a history of a previous depression, undifferentiated type of schizophrenia, previous anti socials acts (56/1%) According to the findings most participants (81/8%) had no precedence of being imprisoned. we survey the declared assumptions of the research and study the presence of any relation or lack of it between variable factors

Our findings suggest Prevention of suicide in schizophrenia is likely to result from treatment of affective symptoms, improving adherence to treatment, and maintaining special vigilance in patients with risk factors,

The aim of this study is the investigation of depression prevalence in heart diseases patients and dialysis candidate’s we researched depression effects on heart and renal diseases and suggested new ways to patients’ management.

This study is a descriptive and correlation study that 21 heart disease patient and dialysis candidates as the samples by questionnaire are selected we used Beck depression Anxiety test and gained results by SPSS and statistical analysis.

In this study 21 patients are selected and 67.7% of them had depression. 30% minor depression, 17.5% mild depression and 7.5% had major depression. Around the 12.5% of them needed psychiatric consultations. Most of them were middle-aged (45%),men (22%),illiterate (32.5%), citizen (92.5%),illness (52.5%) and dialysis candidates (27.5%).

Our study shows that there isn’t meaningful relation between age, academic education, type of living and disease duration of patients. We knew that there is meaningful relation between periods of heart diseases’ patients, dialysis candidates and depression against the healthy people. this research says us to notice emotional problems of patients especially patient of heart diseases and dialysis candidates,

This recent demographic and epidemiologic study includes the prevalence of nocturia among the primary school children in Ardabil, Nocturia causes irretrievable damages in children's mentality and may have results such as being shy, offensive and lying on children.

In this study, about 500 students were determined but regarding to different cultural issues. questionnaires were distributed among the students in clustery ways which were answered by the parents of the students. Information and statistics were analyzed by using SPSS software out of 640 filled papers.

The prevalence of nocturia among the children in Ardabil is 17/18% which 7/49% were girls and 9/68% were boys. 83/5% of them had the primary nocturia and 15/6% the secondary one. The most prevalence was in age-groups between 8 to 10 with 41/8%. 60/6% of them nocturia were the first or second one in the family. 31/2% of them had precedent of using horrible movies.23/1%coming a newborn baby.20/4%had the precedent of snoring at nights and a stuff feeling during sleep. 18/2%had inadequate physically growth. 13/8% had the prevalence of UTI, 13/1% the mothers employed, 7/5% had constipation, 3/7% spinal trauma, 2/7% congenital kidney diseases and 0/9% had

Myelic problem.

The goal of this study is finding the number of children having nocturia in Ardabil in primitive age groups regarding the separation of girls and boys and looking into the reasons that cause nocturia in order to find effective strategies against the problem.

Our main goal is evaluation of marital satisfaction in depressed patients and researches of the rate of depression between men and women.

This investigation is descriptive and correlation study that 93 people (48M, 45F) as the accidental samples by GRIMS and Beck depression questionnaire are collected. Results of this study by Mann Whitney Test, Kruskal-wallis Tests, Chi-square Tests and Spearman’s rho are achieved.

Our study shows that 50.06% of people had relative marital satisfaction and 47.64% had minor depression. The marital satisfaction of women were more than men 49.23% the rate of women depression was high too 47.5%.

In this study there is no meaningful relation between age, duration of marriage, sex, educations, occupational situation and marital satisfaction and depression too but there is meaningful relation between marital dissatisfaction and depression. We advise to go to psychiatrists when spouses have several problems in their sexual relation ship.

Anxiety in pregnancy and the evil following results in the pregnancy process is a problem for pregnant woman and their families. The aim of this study is the investigation of prevalence of anxiety in pregnancy and communicating factors.

This investigation is a descriptive and correlation studies those 156 pregnant women in Sabalan hospital in Ardabil as the accident samples by questionnaire are collected. First part of questionnaire id the demographic information and the second part is the state-trait anxiety test. Result of this investigation study by application apss and statistical analysis.

Between 156 pregnant women in this study, 57.1 percent had state anxiety and 52.5 percent of them had trait anxiety in high medium, low severe, severe, high severe of limitation. In this study, between economic problems in family, pregnancy problems such as Hypertension in pregnancy, bleeding and the others, not having reliable friend, physical disease in pregnant women and their husbands, and both of the state and trait anxiety have meaning relation. Between not intended pregnancies, psychiatric diseases in pregnant women and trait anxiety have meaning relation.

This investigation shows sizable prevalence of anxiety in pregnancy and the effect of different interfering factors. we make a tender for studying controlled in vestigation by equal number of women in first, second and third trimester such as these studies that the women and different interfering factors in anxiety in pregnancy are studied by equal numbers.

The aim of this study is the investigation of anxiety prevalence between first semester and last semester students in university and this research explains the rate of students’ anxiety in university's terms.

This investigation is a descriptive study that 120 students (60 F, 60 M) in Ardabil University from the first and final semesters as the accidental samples by questionnaire are selected. We used Cottle Anxiety test and gained results by SPSS and statistical analysis.

First semester students' anxiety rate was (50%) and final semester students too (50%). (57.7%) of cases were native. most of them (93.3%) was jobless and single (87.5%).

This study shows that there isn’t meaningful relation between rate of Anxiety and age, situation of marriage, occupational situation and living place in first or last semester students of Ardabil University.

Tuberculoma occurs in all age groups but are encountered most often during the first three decades of life. Recognized extra cranial infection or a history of exposure to tubercle bacilli are common but not constant feature.

Microscopically, the process of caseation culminates centerally as a core of amorphous eosinophilic substance but remains imperfect peripherally as a basophilic band of karyorrhectic debris. It is in this outer zone that tubercle bacilli are to be found in greatest abundance. The firm lamina that surrounds the caseous component consists of chronically inflamed fibrous tissue, scattered islands of lymphoid cells, granulomas & giant cells. Polymorphonuclear leukocytes predominate in some lesion. The paucity of granulomatous inflammation in rare lesions produces a similarity to the more common pyogenic abscess. Granulomatous forms of cerebritis also are seen in other mycobacterial & fungal infections, parasitic or spirochetal infection, and in idiopathic condition such as sarcoidosis, crohn disease, SLE. The only way to establish a definitive diagnosis is by biopsy.

Signs & symptoms as headache, seizures, papilledema, hemiplegia, and cerebellar dysfunction are expressions of the lesion's destructive & expansile nature. Fever may intimate its inflammatory character. In situ the Tuberculoma is remarkable for the contrast between its hard consistency & that of juxtaposed edematous brain.

Although, social & economic development lessen the incidence of brain tuberculomas, it might be a matter for the neurosurgeon which must be differentiated from abscess.

Suicide is a tragic occurrence that is the end choice for attempter suicide, with due attention to our personal society is going to modernization attempt to suicide is increasing, and then we want to study about agents and causes of this tragic event.

The way of work and research was done in the case of descriptive studying. Information and statistics were extracted from files and documents in Fatemi Hospital and Analyzed and studied by Chi-square.

The results of the research that from the patients, 18.42% attempted to suicide or self-mutilation. Studies show that more prevalence of attempt was in,male gender(58.6%) and young peoples (37.1%), citizen(55.7%), schizophrenic patients(31.4%) and single persons (49.3%) and individuals with middle level of education and economic situation(53.1%); and most of the patients were drug abusers (60%). the more stimulant that patients were described was grief and indignation and depression(88.6%). Spring the more season was attempted to suicide(37.1%).

Our findings suggest Prevention of suicide in schizophrenia is likely to result from treatment of affective symptoms, improving adherence to treatment, and maintaining special vigilance in patients with risk factors, These findings reveal that despite recent increases to the study of suicide by social work researchers, they have contributed limited evidenced based knowledge in the last twenty-six years on the treatment or prevention of suicide or suicide-related behaviors. The article outlines the risk factors for suicide and discusses the implications for clinical social work practice and research.

The objective of this research is determines the most frequent basic symptom & the most frequent type of schizophrenia in Ardabil hospitals patients.& providing a new classification of basic symptoms in these patients, so that psychiatrics of Ardabil city can use the results of this study to achieve an accurate & also rapid diagnosis of schizophrenia.

This study is a descriptive – analytic one. A sample of 100 patients of both sexes from 17 up to 40 years old was selected. To study the basic symptoms of schizophrenia in them, we used a 44 item questionnaire which was provided through a combination of PANSS & Kitamura questionnaires. To screen the patients with schizophrenia, we used MMPI test. The findings was analyzed by descriptive statistics & through the computer software SPSS. Also a PCA method of factor analysis was used to the hypotheses.

single (62%=49 patients), unemployed (52%=52), with no education (31%=31), negative family history (91%=91), with frequent admission (47%=47). The most frequent basic symptom in these patients was social withdrawal was at second place. the most frequent type was paranoid schizophrenia (44%=44).

The findings have a concordance with results of the last studies about the basic symptoms of schizophrenia & also with DSM-IV & Bleuler& Kraepelin symptoms all of these systems introduce the different fields of a single diagnostic structure rather than antagonist ones.

Anyway, two important factors that were recognized were cognitive disorder. This study suggests that if we recognized emotional symptoms

Schizophrenia is one of the important diseases of mental illnesses.

Determining the impact of demographic factors on the depression intensity and the type of schizophrenia on the depression intensity is important in this research.

Our goals are determining the rate of post-schizophrenic incident in hospitalized patients.

The present study is an analytical prospective one. We selected 187 patients suffering from chronic schizophrenia and completed the demographic questionnaire and Beck depression test and analyzed the data using the statistical software SPSS and the descriptive statistics (frequency-percent) and the deductive statistics (Chi square-variance analysis). P value< 0.05 is assumed meaningful.

The average age of the patients was 38.3+10.1and %46.6 of them suffered from depression, among whom %50 of the females %71.8 of the males suffered from depressio. Considering P=0.162. The relation between the patient's age and the depression intensity was P=0.07, marital status was P=0.09,the different levels of education was P=0.3,the residence was P=0.5,and the previous record of depression was P=0.5. Tthere was a previous record of depression with P= 0.002 and the relation of schizophrenia among the nearest relatives was P=0.7 the record of depression in the nearest relatives was P=0.4 the age was P=0.065 hospitalization with P=0.42 and suicide with P=0.18 also the relation between the schizophrenia type with the depression intensity was P= 0.346.

Our study showed that just the relation between the patient's age and the depression intensity, a previous record of depression patients and suicide whose relations with depression intensity were meaningful.

This study was done to achieve the effect of teaching coping skills in providing mental health in students of Ardabil University of medical sciences.

Due to the nature and aims of the study, the study method was experimental research method.

The samples of the present study comprised all male and female students (n = 112) at Ardabil university of medical sciences and gained 23 or more in GHQ-28 questionnaire at the next stage the samples were selected randomly and divided in 2 groups .then, coping skills were taught to the experimental group for 4 weeks and no variable was exposed to the control group during this period at the end, the data from 62 individuals were analyzed by independent test.

The results showed that teaching coping skills effects on decreasing mental disorders symptoms especially somatization of symptoms and anxiety of students suspected to the mental disorder (R < 0.001) .but the teaching coping skills do not effect on decreasing depression and disorder of social functioning of students

This study showed that teaching coping skills is a good method in decreasing mental disorders symptoms among the students suspected to the mental disorder. Therefore it is suggested that in order to prevent and decrease mental disorders symptoms the coping skills should be taught to students.

According to the high prevalence of ADHD among college Students, diagnosis and treatment of ADHD as soon as possible appears is necessary.

Child abuse is important reason of children 's problems in the future.

Finding the origins of future problems in people's life is one of the our objects.

The present study with aim predicted adult mental health based on experiences of child abuse during childhood was conducted.

In this study 294 patients (164males and 130 females) students with sampling randomly and with using random numbers table were selected. To measure the variables of the questionnaires Goldberg general health (GHQ), Cooper smith self-esteem and Beck depression were used. Data analysis using person correlation test and multiple regressions were performed simultaneously.

Findings showed that there is significant relationship between histories of physical, emotional child abuse and neglected with mental health and adults with a history of Physical, emotional abuse and neglected in terms of mental health are much lower. between sexual abuse and mental health, there is no significant relationship and only emotional child abuse and neglect are able predict significantly mental health scores also showed there is no significant relationship and only emotional child abuse and neglect are able to significantly predict depression scores.

Based on the findings of this study was found between physical emotional abuse neglect and anxiety there is significant relationship while between sexual child abuse with anxiety there is no significant relationship and just emotional child abuse is able to significantly predict anxiety scores. In sex factor results showed that there is significant relationship between mental health of male and female victims.

Most of the hospitalized mental patients have background of past medical history.

Regarding the recurrence feature of the psychological diseases prevention and the causes of recurrence have gained a special importance.

This prompted us to make a survey of the causes of the return of the psychological diseases.

This retrospective study covered 200 cases that 100 of which gathered from men's ward and 100 of them from women. based on the cases the questionnaire including the demographic information nine main causes of return and 2 variables of the times of recurrent including up to 3 times recurrent and more than it were completed.

The patients under study were 36.5 years old in average from among 100 female patients. 42 cases suffered from schizophrenia 42%, 23 cases (23%) BMD,28cases 28% major depression and 7 cases 7% OCD. From among 100 male patients 50 cases 50% suffered from schizophrenia 22 cases 22% BMD, 18 cases 18% major depression and 10 cases 10% OCD.

This study shows that men suffered from schizophrenia more than women suffered major depression more than men. the cause of the recurrence of diseases include avoiding to use drugs,unknown,divorce,economic problems, family problems, immigration, the death of a beloved one, abandoning, child, pregnancy. The percent of each has been different in different kinds of diseases but in both sexes avoiding the use of drugs has been the major cause of recurrence in mental diseases.

We are comparing the personalities of women to each other in different conditions and jobs.

The aim of this study is the comparison of attachment styles and personality sides between women who are victims of domestic violence and ordinary women.

This research included all of them who had complained to family court at first 150 people were randomly studied amid mentioned community by domestic violence questionnaire that 50 people were selected as main annoyed ones were examined in terms of population variable for analysis of data descriptive statistics and k2 and multi-variable variance analysis were used.

Achievements expresses that there is a difference between annoyed and ordinary women in terms of attachments styles also it was unfolded that annoyed women vary with those who are ordinary in terms of characteristic sides and it means that annoyed women got higher marks than ordinary ones at aggression point of view and it is mentionable that the difference between 2 groups is significant.

Accounts of unsafe attachments styles at annoyed women is one of the reasons which cause reluctant interaction in sexual affairs, then lessens loyalty and kindness levels in joint life and finally leads to disruptive behaviors as violence annoyed women with high aggression low desired level, lack of flexibility and low extrovert personality decrease enjoyment of joint life and satisfaction level in sexual life and with a continues contradictions justify the account of domestic violence.

Diabetes Mellitus is one of the common chronic illnesses, which endanger patient's mental health.

We think there is a meaningful relationship between Diabetes and occurring the Mental diseases.

The present study was planned to assess the relationship between diabetic patients' mental health and coping strategies.

In this cross-sectional study 193 patients who were referred to diabetes clinic of Imam Khomeini hospital of Ardabil city in north western part of Iran were selected by available sampling method and assessed by GHQ-28 and Folkman-Lazarus questionnaires. Data were analyze by SPSS version 13 software ,using logistic regression analysis and independent t tests.

Results showed that 54% of diabetic patients are suspected to have a mental disorder and need more diagnostic assessments .Escape-avoidance (P < 0.001), confronting (P < 0.001) and plan-full problem solving coping strategies could predict the mental health in diabetic patients.

Inappropriate and emotion-based coping strategies against medical illnesses-such as escape-avoidance method as a predictor of diabetic patients' mental health-throw patients in vicious cycle of medical and mental illness.
