The psychometric rigor of unsupervised, smartphone-based assessments and factors that impact remote protocol engagement is critical to evaluate prior to the use of such methods in clinical contexts. We evaluated the validity of a high-frequency, smartphone-based cognitive assessment protocol, including examining convergence and divergence with standard cognitive tests, and investigating factors that may impact adherence and performance (i.e., time of day and anticipated receipt of feedback vs. no feedback).

Cognitively unimpaired participants (N = 120, Mage = 68.8, 68.3% female, 87% White, Meducation = 16.5 years) completed 8 consecutive days of the Mobile Monitoring of Cognitive Change (M2C2), a mobile app-based testing platform, with brief morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Tasks included measures of working memory, processing speed, and episodic memory. Traditional neuropsychological assessments included measures from the Preclinical Alzheimer’s Cognitive Composite battery.

Findings showed overall high compliance (89.3%) across M2C2 sessions. Average compliance by time of day ranged from 90.2% for morning sessions, to 77.9% for afternoon sessions, and 84.4% for evening sessions. There was evidence of faster reaction time and among participants who expected to receive performance feedback. We observed excellent convergent and divergent validity in our comparison of M2C2 tasks and traditional neuropsychological assessments.

This study supports the validity and reliability of self-administered, high-frequency cognitive assessment via smartphones in older adults. Insights into factors affecting adherence, performance, and protocol implementation are discussed.

Duration of untreated psychosis (DUP) is defined as the time between the onset of psychotic symptoms and the initiation of appropriate treatment. DUP has been the subject of intensive research to understand how it is associated with a poorer prognosis in patients with first-episode psychosis (FEP). Involuntary treatment is often necessary in the context of FEP.

To characterize the relationship between the duration of untreated psychosis (DUP) and the type of hospitalization (voluntary versus involuntary) in patients admitted for FEP.

We conducted a retrospective observational study, collecting data from patients admitted between January 2019 and December 2022, in the psychiatric unit at our hospital in Bragança, Portugal. We used the information recorded in the clinical records and statistical analysis of the data was performed using the SPSS program.

Over the 4-year study period, 81 patients with first-episode psychotic symptoms at admission were selected. The average age was 46.98 years, with a slight male predominance. 46.9% (n=38) were admitted involuntarily, and 53.1% (n=43) were admitted voluntarily. The average DUP was 73 days. DUP was 95.92 days for patients admitted involuntarily and 54.72 days for voluntary admission. This difference was not statistically significant.

There was a longer DUP in patients admitted involuntarily, although this association was not statistically significant. However, it is important to emphasize that involuntary hospitalization is frequently linked to more severe cases and poorer prognosis. Therefore, recognizing psychotic symptoms as early as possible is essential to facilitate prompt identification and effective treatment for patients experiencing their first episode of psychosis, ultimately leading to an improved prognosis.

The recent addition to both ICD-11 and DSM-V of “Prolonged Grief Disorder” “PGD” raises questions regarding the complexity of the clinical manifestations and the nuances of “normal/abnormal” grief. The lack of consensus in diagnosing emphasizes grief as a non-homogeneous process highly dependent on cultural nuances and the proportion of losses.

Provide an open discourse on (PGD) emphasizing its multicultural aspects in the diagnosis, and debate whether it reinforces mental health stigma by “pathologizing” grief in today’s multicultural society.

Literature has not clearly provided a universal definition of grief, grief processes or the threshold of abnormality. Grief lasting longer than expected is often equated to Major Depressive Episodes, given symptomatic similarities. Migration, war and the pandemic have played a significant role in how people currently grieve. Evidence showed that in 2021 alone there was a 22% increase in the permanent immigrant population. Moreover, the top five nationalities applying for first time asylum in the EU (2022) were: Syrian, Afghan, Venezuelan, Turkish, Columbian, and as of September 2022, 5 million Ukrainian refugees were registered. These figures are not neglectable and show the multiculturality of todays EU population. However, the development of transcultural psychometric tools accessing grief has not been uniform, lacking consistency in validating various transcultural factors. On the other hand, actively diagnosing “Prolonged Grief Disorder” has shown helpful to clinicians in recognizing the debilitating effects of some pernicious grief responses and quickly providing the necessary help.

Diagnosing “PGD” might lead to “psychiatrization” and “medicalization” of normative emotional processes, given different cultural backgrounds, especially due to the absence of universally applicable tools validating transcultural factors. Consequently, an inadequate consideration of context leaves patients feeling invalidated, non-supported and disenfranchised. A culturally sensitive approach is crucial, focusing on individual differences for effective grief intervention and support.

Psychiatric care is unique in its scope and complexity, as it involves the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of pathologies and, as these patients seek treatment, it is imperative to understand who accompanies them in clinical consultations and how the presence of these companions influences the treatment path. The dynamics between psychiatric patients and their companions in consultation, is extremely important as it can have significant implications for the effectiveness of treatment and the well-being of the patient.. Therefore, the presence of companions can take different forms, varying according to the diagnosis and needs of each person.

Thus, the authors intend, through carrying out a research study, to fill a critical gap in the understanding of presence of companions in psychiatric consultations, exploring the diversity of companions and their profiles in relation to patients psychiatric patients with specific diagnoses. Furthermore, they intend to understand how their presence impacts the process of adherence to the treatment.

One of the main results was the identification of the different types of companions who were present at the consultations psychiatric disorders, reflecting the diversity of available social support and highlighting the importance of understanding the available support networks. A notable variation in the presence of companions in relation to psychiatric diagnoses was also observed, emphasizing the variations monitoring needs according to the nature of psychiatric disorders, suggesting the need for management strategies personalized treatment. This study also highlighted the influence of the presence of companions on doctor-patient communication and on adherence to treatment, in which the presence of family members often facilitated communication, allowing for a better understanding comprehensive history of the patient.

Recent scientific evidence confirms that employability is extremely important in mental health care. Employment promotes a healthy lifestyle and unemployment leads to a global deterioration in health. This principle is transversal to all areas of health, applying equally to people with mental illness, including serious mental illness such as schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder.

Highlight the importance of employability in the treatment and rehabilitation process of people with mental illness.

Parallel to conventional psychiatric treatments, employment generates self-confidence, promotes social responsibility, a sense of belonging and, consequently, integration in the community. From an economic point of view, it brings financial autonomy to the sick person, allowing the financing of their own accommodation, the payment of proposed treatments and the enjoyment of structures and leisure activities that until then would be impossible. It is also known that patients who are employed are less likely to resort to psychiatric emergency services and have a lower rate of readmissions to psychiatric hospitals, reflecting a better ability to manage the disease. Overall, employability increases the sick person’s quality of life, not only being an effective short-term treatment, but also one of the only interventions that reduce dependence on the health system in the long term.

The treatment plan should aim for more than the suppression of symptoms.

Knowing that employment generates positive outcomes, gets that as fundamental parameter for the treatment and for the rehabilitation of the person with mental illness, and it must therefore become essential that mental health services help patients to find satisfactory jobs and that protect your needs.

Thus, mental health policies should defend a new mental health treatment paradigm and emphasize employment as an imperative measure in the treatment and psychosocial rehabilitation of the sick person, including supported employment as an essential part of treatment.

In spite of the progress observed in the last decade particularly in the field of the neurosciences, areas of controversy and incomplete concepts still remain in psychiatry. One relates to the study the heterogeneous group of schizophrenic spectrum functional psychosis that arise along the neurophysiological aging process. Kraepelin first used the term paraphrenia in 1912, to describe a psychotic disorder with much lighter impairment of emotion and volition, minimal to no cognitive deterioration (dementia) and personality preservation compared to dementia praecox. However, since its first descriptions, late-onset psychoses have received different descriptions and definitions.

Brief review of the evolution of paraphrenia concept, focusing not only on pioneering currents, but also articulating it with recent conclusions on late-onset psychoses.

Systematic revision of literature.

After Kreapelin pioneerism, Bleuler and Mayer-Gross would contribute to the weakening and disruption of the Kraepelinian concept of paraphrenia. In the first half of the 20th century, psychiatry was moving towards the dissolution of this concept. British psychiatrists would later rehabilitate the concept of paraphrenia but to designate a very late-onset variant of schizophrenia - late paraphrenia. This influenced the International Diseases Classifications (ICD), and the 8th edition was the first to consider paraphrenia as a subtype of paranoid schizophrenia.

By the end of the 20th century, both ICD-10 and various editions of DSM since DSM-III-TR (inclusive) omitted the category of paraphrenia, allowing the super-inclusiveness of the schizophrenia category and discouraging research on the theme.

In the late 20th century, late paraphrenia was conceived as a group of heterogeneous disorders that included paranoid and organic psychosis. To date, the term very late onset schizophrenia-like psychosis is the term used to replace late paraphrenia.

The nosological consecration of paraphrenia suffered several misfortunes over the last century. The schizophrenic psychosis “black-hole” conceived at the same time contributed to this concealment. In addition, modern pharmacology also allowed the neuroleptization and homogenization of disorders with psychotic symptoms which led to the devaluation of some diagnostic possibilities in the “neighborhood” of schizophrenia.

We propose a nosological frame composed of two distinct entities: one based on a neurodevelopment disorder - schizophrenia - with insidious onset at a younger age, with a hereditary background and greater global deterioration, an the other, with a neurodegenerative basis - paraphrenia - with an abrupt and later onset, less contribution of genetic factors, greater preservation and lower probability of dementia development.

Childbirth can be experienced as distressing or even traumatic for some women and her partners, which could cause psychological distress, intense fear or helplessness and increases the risk of anxiety, depression and even post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The reported prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder after childbirth ranges from 1.5% to 6%.

The current study aimed to elaborate a narrative literature review to identify predictors associated development of PTSD in women and the partners.

PubMed database searched using the terms “post-traumatic stress disorder” and “childbirth” and “trauma”. Only research conducted in the past 20 years was considered for inclusion.

Several variables were associated with risk to development PTSD after childbirth, including negative experiences and severe fear of childbirth, subjetive distress, previous abortion, psychological difficulties in pregnancy, previous psychiatric problems, history of PTSD and trauma. Futhermore, obstretic and birth-related factors such as pregnancy complications, type of birth could also contribute to PTSD in women and her partners. Additionally, diferent environmental factors like poor interaction between provider and mother, low social support during labour and birth are associated with development of PTSD.

Clinicians should be aware that many women and her parterns have a risk to development PTSD following childbirth. We need to research risk factors in routine clinical practice and carefully monitored the patients with high risk.

Substance misuse increases the risk of developing psychosis in vulnerable people. However, patients with substance use disorders’ attributes and their effect on first-episode psychosis (FEP) are still unclear.

To describe and compare inpatient admissions for FEP with substance misuse and its impact on clinical outcomes.

We conducted an observational and retrospective study, analyzing sociodemographic determinants and clinical data regarding the patients hospitalized for FEP, between January 2019 and June 2022, in the psychiatric unit at our hospital in Bragança, Portugal. We used logistic regression to estimate the effect of social determinants and other clinical data regarding the patients hospitalized for FEP with substance abuse.

We included 78 patients in this study. Of these patients, 30% (n=23) reported substance (drugs or alcohol) misuse prior to hospital admission. Regarding only the patients with substance misuse, 96% were male and the median age was 31 years. Cannabis was the most often reported substance of abuse (83%). Most of these patients were unmarried (OR:10.794; 95%CI:2.855-40.805;P=0.001), lived in a rural setting (OR:0.263; 95%CI:0.094-0.731;P=0.009) and had no previous psychiatric history (OR:1.022; 95%CI:0.386-2.709;P=0.964).Regarding hospital admission, 70% were involuntary admitted (OR:4;95%CI:1.408-11.366;P=0.007) and the median time of hospitalization was 17 days. At the time of discharge, 48% of these set of patients still didn’t have insight into their mental illness (OR:1.737;95%CI:0.646-4.679;P=0.272). During the evaluation period of this study, 13% of the patients were readmitted to the hospital (OR:1.029;95%CI:0.241-4.383;P=0.970) and 35% missed outpatient appointments (OR:3.133;95%CI:1.003-9.791;P=0.044). The diagnoses at the time of discharge were: substance-induced psychosis (52%), schizophrenia (22%), affective psychosis (17%), and acute and transient psychotic disorder (9%).

This analysis indicates substance misuse predates and is prevalent in FEP. Many of these patients fail to recognize and accept that they are suffering from a mental illness and drop out of outpatient psychiatric care. Further, substance-induced psychoses are associated with a significant risk for transition to schizophrenia particularly following cannabis-induced psychosis. Thus, it is crucial to optimize adherence to the therapeutic regimen and outpatient follow-up.

The treatment with long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIAs) is more and more frequent and it shows advantages regarding adherence, effectiveness and tolerance.

To describe and compare the profile of patients under treatment with LAIAs in a psychiatric hospital in Portugal.

An observational and retrospective study was carried out with the collection of data referring to patients hospitalized with a first psychotic episode between 01/01/2019 and 30/06/2022 in a psychiatric hospital in Portugal and the respective evaluation of sociodemographic and clinical data through the information recorded in the clinical files.

During the 42 months of the study, we selected 78 patients who presented psychotic symptoms on admission. Patients with a history of previous psychotic episodes and prescription of antipsychotic therapy prior to hospitalization were excluded.

Of 78 patients hospitalized with a first psychotic episode, 34 - which corresponds to approximately 44% - were discharged with LAIAs.

Patients receiving LAIAs had an average age of 39 years. The average number of days of hospitalization was 28 days; 41% were female (n=14) and 59 were male (n=20); 35% (n=12) consumed psychoactive substances previously on admission to hospital; 62% (n=21) were discharged under the compulsive treatment regimen. Regarding the diagnosis at discharge, based on the international classification of disease-11 (ICD-11), the most common were schizophrenia, psychotic disorder induced by psychoactive substances and acute and transient psychotic disorder.

From the statistical analysis carried out, no correlation was observed between the rate of readmissions and the administration of LAIAs, nor was there any correlation between the rate of readmissions and compulsive outpatient treatment.

Despite what is described in the literature, in the sample under study, the LAIAs were not superior in the variables studied, namely in reducing the readmission rate. Possible explanations for the results obtained may be justified by the size of the sample under study and the follow-up time of the cases.

The Short Form of the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS-SF; Raes et al. 2011) is composed of 12 items that evaluate the same six dimensions (Self-Kindness/SK, Self-Judgement/SJ, Common Humanity/CH, Isolation, Mindfulness/M, Over-Identification/OI) as the long scale (26 items). The Portuguese version of the SCS-SF (Castilho et al. 2015) was validated in a vast sample from clinical and general populations, the latter being composed of students, other than from medicine courses.

To analyze the psychometric properties of the Portuguese version of the SCS-SF in a sample of Medicine/Dentistry students.

Participants were 666 Portuguese medicine (82.6%) and dentistry (17.4%) students (81.8% girls); they answered an online survey including the SCS and other validated questionnaires from the OECD Study on Social and Emotional Skills/SSES: Stress resistance, Emotional control, Optimism and Persistence.

Confirmatory Factor Analysis showed that the model composed of six factors, two second order factors (positive and negative) and one third order factor (total) presented good fit indexes (χ2/df=3.013; RMSEA=.0066, p<.001; CFI=.970; TLI=.948, GFI=.947). The Cronbach’s alfas were .892, .869 and .877 respectively for the total, self-compassion and self-criticism dimension. Pearson correlations of the SCS-SF total score, self-compassion and self-criticism dimensional scores were moderate to high with the SSES measures, from .272/-.236/.247 with Persistence to .709/-.634/.615 with Optimism.

Although reduced to less than half than the original SCS, the SCS–SF is a valid and useful alternative to measure general self-compassion and their positive and negative components in an ongoing longitudinal research with medicine/dentistry students.

Kleptomania is characterized by recurrent failure to resist the impulse to steal items of little value despite the ego-dystonic impulse and awareness of the wrongfulness of the act. Its prevalence is considered to be 0.6–0.8% in the general population and it is mostly comorbid with other psychiatric disorders. Kleptomania is a disabling disorder since patients suffer from emotional distress and impaired functioning.

Although there is no cure, treatment may help prevent Kleptomania worsening and its negative consequences. We propose a review of the therapeutic approach to this disease.

Non-systematic literature review.

No effective treatment is available for Kleptomania. Better efficacy can be achieved by combining psychotherapy with pharmacotherapy. Different treatment interventions can be selected based on clinical similarities to other disorders, co-occurring conditions or behavioral core features. Patients with significant mood symptoms may benefit from mood stabilizers or antidepressants. For patients with shoplift cravings and/or family history of substance use disorders, Naltrexone may reduce symptoms. Stimulants may be useful for Kleptomania bassociated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder impulsivity. Benzodiazepines are effective in tension relief when used as adjuvants, at the beginning of treatment. Electroconvulsive therapy should be reserved for patients with treatment-resistant symptoms and comorbid depression. Cognitive-behavioral therapy has replaced Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic psychotherapies.

Treatment helps decrease disruption to the person’s life, preventing the intense shame, legal, social, family, and occupational repercussions of Kleptomania. Although pharmaceutical and psychosocial interventions are available, we still lack specific treatments for Kleptomania.

The delusional misidentification syndromes (DMS) are uncommon but fascinating neuropsychiatric disorders. One particularly intriguing form of DMS is called the mirror sign or mirror delusional misidentification (MDM).

We aim to present a case on MDM and a review on MDM and its correlation with neurological lesions.

Non-systematic review of the literature and case report.

A 72 years old patient was admitted to the emergency department with disorientation, behavioral changes and persecutory delusional ideation. The patient was also unable to recognize his face in the mirror, claiming to be his son. On neuroimaging tests, the patient presented with moderate diffuse cortical-subcortical cerebral atrophy associated with mild diffuse cortical cerebellar atrophy, as well as atheromatous calcifications in carotid siphons. In the MDM, the patient treats the mirror image as separate from the self. It is commonly seen in patients with dementia. Unlike Capgras syndrome, MDM is typically associated with neurological illness, particularly with neurodegenerative conditions. Findings on neuroimaging have shown a pattern of right hemisphere cortical and subcortical lesions. the most common findings included the following: generalized or localized atrophy on Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ventricular dilatation on Computed Tomography scan, and slowing on Electroencephalography.

Mirror delusional misidentification differs from other forms of DMS as it is seen exclusively in patients with neurological disease. While right hemisphere dysfunction appears to be a requirement for MDM, patients with this condition do not show consistent enough neuroimaging findings to allow for a localization within the right hemisphere.

Perinatal death includes losses such as ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, stillbirths and neonatal deaths. Perinatal loss has well documented negative effects on the health of the bereaved parents. Early pregnancy loss (EPL) is the spontaneous death of a fetus within the first 20 weeks of gestation.

To describe a clinical case of disenfranchised grief following EPL and to review the literature.

We reviewed the clinical file of a patient presenting to the psychiatry outpatient clinic with disenfranchised grief. We conducted a non-systematic review on PubMed and Google Scholar.

A 29-years-old female patient presents to the outpatient clinic with depressive symptoms and thoughts of death. The symptoms had begun 4 months earlier, following the loss of pregnancy at 14 weeks. She felt her grief was not accepted by her family and social network. Progressively, her relationships deteriorated, and she felt more and more isolated. She experienced marked difficulty in caring for her older child. Compared to other types of mourning, the loss of a child is associated with grief experience that is particularly severe and complicated. Despite the high prevalence of EPL, many women suffer in silence due to the common belief these losses are insignificant and may develop complicated grief.

Perinatal loss of an infant has the potential to have a large impact on the mental health of the bereaved parents. Literature on the efficacy of different interventions is still scarce. Further studies are necessary on prevention strategies and interventions for parents already suffering from complicated grief or depressive disorders.

In early 2020, governments started to implement different forms of public health measures, from physical distancing recommendations, to stay-at-home orders, to limit the propagation of COVID-19. Here we report the case of a 41-year-old woman, with a diagnosis of panic disorder. During the end of the lockdown, the patient presented psychopathological worsening, from her fear of Covid-19 infection, stemming from a heart failure disease and concerns regarding the hygiene and safety measures of those around her.

Selection and analisis of clinical case and review of the literature using PubMed database.

The COVID-19 pandemic and the measures adopted to prevent the spread of the disease had a huge impact on a personal, social, and economic level for the world population. The rise of fear and anxiety among people due to uncertainty about the disease are coupled with essential yet disruptive measures such as lockdowns and quarantines. The chronically ill population are especially vulnerable during such circumstances and require addressing their physical health and any psychological difficulties they might experience, being at higher risk of suffering physically from the pandemic’s disease as well as psychologically from the implemented countermeasures.

This vignette provides a case where a person’s psychiatric conditions are worsened due to the end of a pandemic lockdown, rather than the lockdown itself. Additional work should aim at comparing the experiences of the different countries affected by the pandemic in order to understand the size of the psychological impact, the potential risk and protective factors.

Rates of cannabis use among pregnant women have been increasing. Psychiatrists may be required to provide counselling regarding marijuana use in pregnancy for their patients.

To produce an up-to-date review of cannabis effects on pregnancy and the offspring.

We performed a non-systematic review of the literature apropos a clinical case.

A 31-years-old, 22-weeks pregnant woman presented with severe anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia which she managed solely with cannabis. She had been previously treated with antidepressants and benzodiazepines with symptom remission but had suspended before her pregnancy without medical advice. She believed medication was more harmful to the baby than her cannabis use. There is little perception of risk concerning cannabis use in pregnant woman. Information on cannabis use is less likely to be obtained from healthcare providers than from anecdotal experiences, Internet searching and advice from friends and family. Prenatal use of cannabis has been associated with anaemia in the mother, whereas in the offspring it is associated with reduction in birth weight and greater likelihood of placement in intensive care units. There is insufficient evidence to support an association between marijuana use and any specific congenital abnormality, but also to demonstrate its safety.

It is essential for psychiatrists to have up-to-date knowledge of the effects of cannabis on the pregnancy and the offspring to properly counsel their patients. However, the effects of cannabis on maternal and foetal outcomes remain generally unknown. With rising numbers of female users, there is urgent need for further research.

Previous studies have demonstrated that night-shift work is associated with adverse effects impacting physical and psychological health, including the Shift Work Disorder (SWD). SWD is a circadian rhythm disorder characterized by sleepiness and insomnia, resulting from working a shift other than the traditional daytime-shift. Armodafinil, a modafinil longer-lasting R-isomer, is approved for SWD treatment. Due to its pharmacodynamic profile, it may result in more sustained wakefulness during night-shifts than Modafinil.

To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing the efficacy of Armodafinil vs Modafinil and/or placebo on reducing SWD excessive sleepiness.

Will follow PRISMA guidelines. A systematic search will be conducted on PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and ClinicalTrials.gov databases. RCTs comparing Armodafinil with Modafinil and/or Placebo for SWD treatment will be included. No language nor date restrictions will be applied. Outcomes of interest are prespecified as follows: the primary endpoint will be objective sleepiness; secondary endpoints will include subjective sleepiness, adverse effects, awareness, reaction time, memory and cognition. Retrieved studies will be independently screened for eligibility by two reviewers. Disagreements will be solved by consensus or by a third reviewer. Primary studies methodological quality will be assessed and data extracted independently using a standardized extraction-form.

Data will be described and reported as narrative text and summary tables. Heterogeneity of the included studies will be assessed and, if possible, a meta-analysis will be conducted.

It is expected that this systematic review and meta-analysis favours Armodafinil over Modafinil and placebo in the treatment of SWD.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has had a negative impact for mental health. ULS-Guarda in cooperation with Portugal National Health Service, provided the population of the district of Guarda with a mental health helpline (MHHL).

Provide a descriptive data analysis of the MHHL calls received between April 1st and September 20th of 2020.

The data was obtained through the filling out of questionnaires. It included fields for gender, age, the type of service provided, relation to COVID-19, symptoms displayed and the number calls made per patient. For the statistical analysis, Microsoft Excel TM was utilized.

MHHL received 191 calls. The largest volume was received during April, which saw 116 instances of patients seeking the MHHL. The number of calls then tapered progressively throughout the following months. The services provided were split between psychiatric assistance, psychologic assistance, and the renovation of medical prescriptions, in 44%, 31% and 19% of the cases, respectively. The 101 patients who resorted to the MHHL were unevenly distributed in gender, being 74 female and 27 male individuals. Their ages were mostly between 50 and 69 years old. The most common symptoms were anxiety, depressed humor and insomnia, in 35%, 16% and 11% of the cases, respectively.

The largest influx of calls coincides with the home confinement period, and decreased alongside the relaxation of the confinement measures held. The MHHL had enough adherence to warrant consideration of it being an alternative means of healthcare access, especially in situations where physical access to healthcare is restricted.
