About the Reading Masterclass

The Department of Basic Education has declared reading a national priority and indeed, reading underpins learners’ potential to function and grow in their school careers and in society beyond. The ability to read for understanding is the foundation that can help learners reach out for growth, opportunities, and ultimately a better life.

Our Reading Masterclass is designed to help teachers build their knowledge, skills and confidence in teaching the skill of reading. The sessions are packed with valuable reading strategies and varied assessment methods.

The Cambridge Reading Masterclass workshops are open but not limited to teachers, assistant teachers, librarians, and parents.  Participants will receive unique, Cambridge-quality content developed by experts, suitable for both trainee and experienced teachers.
