Facilitators


After working at Wits as a lecturer, Joyce joined the educational publishing industry and now has more than 20 years’ experience in the field. She worked at Heinemann Publishers for 8 years, moving on to run her own business, offering a range of publishing services (writing, translation, editing, proofreading and project management). She recently took part in the development of the national qualification in editing and proofreading.

After 9 years as a lecturer at the University of Lesotho, Teboho joined Molteno and later Heinemann Publishers as a publisher. She has also worked for the Gauteng Institute of Curriculum Development (GICD) as a Curriculum Development Consultant. Teboho is currently a freelance translator, editor, proofreader and trainer.

Millie is a teacher by profession, specialising in learning through play. She is also a qualified Assessor and Moderator for Outcomes Based Education.

Shiwe was an English and Mathematics teacher at secondary level, lecturer at a technical college, and National Training Coordinator at Macmillan – specialising in teacher training at both primary and secondary levels.

Mpho has 20 years’ publishing experience, earned mainly within 3 publishing companies (MML, Oxford and Macmillan). She also organises freelance training programmes on editing, translation and artwork brief development.

Ndivhu started her career as an editor at MML and later joined Nasou via Afrika as an editor and later publisher. She has also worked for Oxford University Press as a managing editor and project manager. Since 2014, she has been an e-learning facilitator at Goniwe School of Leadership.
