Stanford Monographs in African Languages
This series in devoted to publishing work by linguists on African languages. It is the objective of the series to disseminate information about as many languages as possible, and especially about ones that have been to some extent neglected in the past literature. The aim of the series is to focus on primary materials, such as word lists, paradigms, and grammatical sketches. The availability of such publications will hopefully encourage the development of teaching and literacy materials in these languages as well as continued descriptive and theoretical linguistics work.
