Cambridge Studies in Behavioural Biology

Cambridge Studies in Behavioural Biology is a multi-disciplinary series, whose aim is to bring together ideas about the functions and evolution of behaviour and knowledge of the underlying mechanisms. It utilises contributions from the whole spectrum of behavioural studies. Thus, topics are dealt with from the viewpoints of ethology, psychology, behavioural ecology, environmental physiology and the behavioural neurosciences. The authors attempt to unite developmental and neurological concerns with functional analysis of behaviour. In addition, gaps in our knowledge are identified so as to suggest lines of future research. The books are concise, stimulating guides to today's important issues in behaviour, and are especially suitable for advanced undergraduate and graduate students as well as their teachers.
