  • This is a limited edition facsimile of the very first Bible printed by Cambridge University Press in 1591. It is an edition of the Geneva Bible, the popular Bible translation of the day. it was the Bible taken to America by the Pilgrim Fathers. This unique facsimile was published in 1991 to celebrate Cambridge's first 400 years of Bible publishing. It is printed on acid-free, gilt-edged paper and bound in hand-tooled calfskin leather. The binding is based on one of the three surviving original and the book is set in a silk-lined presentation box. A booklet about the history of the Geneva Bible is included.
