Cambridge University Press 2018 Research Terms and Conditions


By entering the Customer Driver and Motivation Survey prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

  

  1. This prize draw is run by the Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge acting through its department, Cambridge University Press at University Printing House, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge, CB2 8BS, UK (‘Cambridge’).

  1. The Prize Draw is open to any individual over the age of eighteen (18) who have fully completed the survey.

  2. One entry per person will be accepted.

  1. The survey is due to close on 26 February, 2018 at 00:00 GMT. The prize draw will take place two weeks thereafter. Cambridge reserves the right to change the prize draw date as necessary.

  1. In order to enter the Prize Draw, entrants must complete the customer driver and motivation survey and leave their name and email address in the space provided in the survey. Incomplete entries and entries deemed by Cambridge to be inappropriate for any reason will not be accepted.

  1. There will be one (1) winner and nine (9) runners up to be drawn by Cambridge after the end of the Prize Draw Period.

  1. The prizes are as follows:

    1. Winner: Ipad Mini4

    2. First four runners up: 4 *£50 Amazon gift card or local currency equivalent

    3. Following five runners up: 5* £20 Amazon gift card or local currency equivalent

  1. Prize(s) are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged by winners for cash, credit or any other product.

  1. The draw shall be conducted two (2) weeks after the survey closes.

  1. The winner and runners up will be notified by email, to the email address provided. If a winner cannot be contacted within two (2) weeks of the Draw Date Cambridge reserves the right to cancel any winning entry and to redraw a replacement winning entry.

  1. Only winners will be contacted.

  1. To the extent permitted by law, Cambridge accepts no liability in respect of the prizes. They are supplied “as is” with no express guarantee or warranty as to their suitability or quality. Cambridge reserves the right to cancel prize draws at any time. No notification will be entered into.

  1. Cambridge reserves the right to substitute the prize(s) at any time.

  1. If local delivery of any prize is unavailable or not possible, we reserve the right to cancel the entry and redraw a replacement winning entry. Please allow at least ninety (90) days for delivery of the prizes, unless otherwise stated.

  1. If you have provided the applicable consent, you have permitted Cambridge to contact you from time to time with details of products and services that may be of interest to you. You have the option to unsubscribe if you wish to do so.

  1. Cambridge will not sell your personal information to others or release it to others without your prior consent, and will only use your personal data as outlined in Cambridge’s privacy policy (http://www.cambridge.org/about-us/legal-notices/privacy-policy/).

  2. Employees of Cambridge University Press, or their associated companies, and employees of any agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw are not eligible to participate.

  3. No bulk, third party or automated entries permitted or those submitted via macros or similar. Cambridge may disallow entries, refuse to award any prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.

  4. Cambridge accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or rendered invalid due to incorrect participant data, lack of network coverage, system, software or hardware failure or for any other reason beyond its control. Entries that are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions and/or that are delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or otherwise defective will be disqualified.

  5. Cambridge reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes, in its sole discretion, to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

  6. Cambridge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  7. Entrants have the right to request a copy of the personal information which Cambridge holds about them. To do so, please write to us at: Legal and Business Affairs, Cambridge University Press, University Printing House, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge, CB2 8BS.

  8. The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of them) are governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
