About the Authors
  • The Alternative Service Book was issued as an authorized Church of England liturgy in 1980. This prayer book offers the Rite B Eucharist Service, the traditional liturgy closest to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. As it only contains the Eucharist service, it is light and easy to hold. This book is designed for the person taking the service and has large, clear print with blue rubrics and bold text for the congregation's responses. It offers the additional benefit of music for the chanted sections. It is bound in an attractive khaki shade of imitation leather blocked with the ASB design.

    • light and attractive altar book for ASB communion service
    • traditional Rite B language
    • includes music for the chanted parts of the service
