Terms and conditions in full
1. Eligibility
1.1 Cambridge reserves the right to withdraw, amend or cancel an offer at any time.
1.2 Incomplete entry forms will be deemed invalid.
1.3 Entries are limited to one per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Late, or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
1.4 Entries must be submitted at the ASRM 2019 Cambridge booth by the 17th October 2019. After this date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.
1.5 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
1.6 The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
1.7 All entries must be received by the 17th October 2019.
1.9 There will be three winners selected at random, and each winner will be awarded a $175 voucher to spend on Cambridge Medicine books of their choice
1.10 To the extent permitted by law, Cambridge accepts no liability in respect of the prizes. They are supplied “as is” with no express guarantee or warranty as to their suitability or quality. Cambridge reserves the right to cancel prize draws at any time. No notification will be entered into.
2. Prize Draw General Terms
2.1 There shall be no cash substitute or alternative prize offered.
2.1 The prize is non-transferable.
2.2 The winners will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date.
2.3 The winners will be contacted within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw via email.
2.4 Only winners will be contacted.
2.5 Should Cambridge be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, Cambridge reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
2.6 The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be delivered.
2.7 If local delivery of any prize is unavailable or not possible, we reserve the right to cancel the entry and redraw a replacement winning entry. Please allow at least ninety (90) days for delivery of prizes, unless otherwise stated.
2.8 The prize draw is to win one of three vouchers, each with the total value of $175, to spend on Cambridge Medicine books
2.9 The prizes are subject to stock and availability, alternative Cambridge Medicine books may be offered to the winner if stock and availability is limited.
3. General
3.1 The promoter is: Cambridge University Press whose registered office is at University Printing House, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 8BS, United Kingdom.
3.2 The Prize Draw is open to any individual over the age of eighteen (18).
3.3 There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
3.4 Prize draw participants may also sign up to ‘Cambridge Alerts’ at the same time. Signing up to Cambridge Alerts is not a condition of entering or winning this prize draw, and subscribers can manage their preferences online at any time.
3.5 By entering this prize draw, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.6 The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
3.7 Cambridge will not sell your personal information to others or release it to others without your prior consent, and will only use your personal data as outlined in our privacy policy (see: http://www.cambridge.org/policy/privacy/).
3.8 Cambridge reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any revised version will be effective immediately that it is displayed on this website.
3.9 In the event that these Terms and Conditions are translated into any language other than English, the terms of the English Language version shall prevail in the event of any conflict.
3.10 Employees of Cambridge University Press and associated companies will not be eligible to participate.
3.11 These entry rules form part of the terms and conditions and it is a condition of entry that the rules are accepted as final.
3.12 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English laws. Any dispute arising out of the prize draw shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
