Teaching young learners to paraphrase
Date: Tuesday 9 February
Time: 15:00
Can you say that again (differently) please? Part of learning a language is being able to express ourselves in different ways. Paraphrasing, rephrasing, adapting to the situation. This can begin right from the start - in the Young Learners' classroom. So let's see how we can make it a part of our classes! (And help learners in the Cambridge Young Learners English Tests too!)
Anne Robinson has taught students from 4 to 84 for many years. She is an active consultant and teacher trainer for several organisations. She has written and delivered seminars as well as producing web material for Cambridge English. As co-author of 3 books to prepare for the Cambridge English Young Learners Tests, Anne has had the pleasure of incorporating new inspiration into the 3rd editions of Fun for Starters, Fun for Movers and Fun for Flyers.
