Research Literacy for Language Teachers

Research Literacy for Language Teachers

Date: Thursday 17 September

Time: 09:00

The webinar will explore a number of questions that are important to any language teaching professional: (a) What is research in language teaching and learning? (b) What are the types of research, and, how can we define research so it fits the whole field? (c) What does it mean to be research literate in our field? And, (d) how can teachers become more research literate? In the process of addressing those four questions, we explore the participants’ views and share some of our own with the goal of providing participants with a number of ideas for how they can develop and continue developing their own research literacy skills.
