Cambridge Teacher Development Day, Dublin, Saturday 11th October 2014
Our teacher development day in Dublin was a great success. 100 teachers from Dublin and beyond gathered at International House to hear a varied day of talks, which included:
Stephanie Dimond-Bayir: Using video in the classroom
Anne O'Keeffe: Learner grammar under the microscope
Virgil Ierubino: Professional development for busy teachers
Jill Buggey: Cambridge First and Advanced are changing: are you ready?
Teachers were also able to network and mingle with colleagues, enjoy lunch together and browse or purchase books from International Books of Dublin.
We are very grateful to our IH colleagues for their invaluable help in hosting this successful day, and we very much hope to hold further development days in Ireland in the future. If the feedback was anything to go by, that will hopefully be soon!
- Topics were all SOÂ relevant - thank you.
- Really enjoyable and informative. I learned of a lot of resources that I will undoubtedly use in the classroom (next week).
- I think the room set up was excellent with the small tables - made it sociable and relaxing! Thank you for a great day!
Thank you for your feedback which will help us improve our service.
If you requested a response, we will make sure to get back to you shortly.
