Cambridge Engine Technology Series

This series provides advanced books on all aspects of engineering applied to propulsion devices, principally turbomachinery and internal combustion engines, taking stock and summarizing results of the intense research and development that has taken place over the last twenty years. Topics covered will include aerodynamics, thermodynamics, acoustics, materials, lubrication, fuels and emissions, combustion, engine control and management, and computational methods, as well as the application of these technologies to component and engine design. The publications in this series will be of interest to graduate students, research workers in universities and research institutes, and research and development engineers in industry.

: J. E. Ffowcs Williams; E. M. Greitzer
