Earth and Environmental Sciences

From the basics of ecosystems to ways of adapting to climate change, our earth and environmental science resources help students prepare for the Cambridge IGCSE® and IB Diploma assessments.

What's new?

Following extensive classroom research, this series has been revised by experienced teachers and examiners to support the Cambridge International AS & A Level Marine Science syllabus (9693) for examination from 2022.

The coursebook includes all core practical activities, with further support in the teacher’s resource. A practical skills chapter in the coursebook, introduces students to experimental planning, presenting data and evaluating experimental methods.

The new workbook includes exercises and exam-style questions for each topic, providing further opportunities for students to consolidate their learning and apply their knowledge, and twenty-seven practical activities to develop students’ investigative skills.

New features such as engaging projects develop students’ collaborative skills and ‘before you start’ activities unlock students’ prior learning. Reflection questions promote metacognitive thinking and self-evaluation checklists enable students to track their own progress.
