An introduction to the Cambridge English Corpus

An introduction to the Cambridge English Corpus

Date: Tuesday 16 December

Time: 15:00 GMT

Find our more about the Cambridge English Corpus, a multi-billion word collection of written and spoken English. Learn how it helps us to understand more about the English language, and how people use it when they speak and when they write.

Discover how it’s used in the development of Cambridge  learning materials, to make them match how language is really used.

Sarah Grieves has been working in the Language Research Team at Cambridge University Press for four years. Her role as Language Research Project Manager involves carrying out research into English, and working with authors and editors on new ELT products. Her main research interests are learner corpora and spoken English corpora.
