Deirdre Cijffers and Gordon Lewis explore how teachers and institutions can support students on online-only courses, where teachers no longer have recourse to have face-to-face conversations to pre-empt and resolve issues.
Deirdre Cijffers is a teacher trainer who has been involved in teaching and teacher development for the last 14 years and has taught English in 7 countries over the course of her career. Gordon Lewis is Vice President, Laureate Languages at Laureate International Universities and on the Editorial Board at ELT Journal.
