I-read Pupil Anthology Year 4 Fiction
Overview
An easy-to-use resource for teaching essential reading skills to the whole class using an interactive whiteboard.
This book accompanies the i-read 4 CD-ROM. It can be used alongside the CD-ROM for group and independent reading away from the interactive whiteboard. Series Editor Pie Corbett has specially commissioned whole fiction texts for i-read from a host of popular authors, to ensure a vibrant read. As well as a folk tale from another culture and a historical tale, the collection includes a sci-fi / fantasy text in which readers themselves decide the path a story follows.
Contents
- Historical stories: A Bit of Blue Sky, Chris Buckton
- Sci-fi / fantasy: The Seekers, Valerie Bloom
- Stories from other cultures: Old Man Shoa and the Fire, retold by Thomas Munro.
