Language Learning with Technology recognised in ELTons Awards
Graham Stanley's Language Learning with Technology was shortlisted in this year’s British Council ELTons Awards in the ‘Innovations in Teacher Resources’ category. The award recognises innovation in any product or service across any media intended for learners.
Language Learning with Technology has 150 classroom activities for beginner to advanced level learners, incorporating a wide range of up-to-date technologies. The book puts pedagogy first, with content organised around areas of language learning, rather than technology types.
In 2013, Language Learning with Technology was the overall winner in The English-Speaking Union’s 2013 Duke of Edinburgh English Language Book Awards.
The Cambridge Handbooks for Language for Teachers title has also had a fantastic response from teachers:
“I cannot recommend this book highly enough! I have just read it cover to cover while travelling at the weekend, and I just want to start using all the ideas straight away!” Helen Blow (Amazon)
“The most useful TEFL book I have bought in a long time. This book arrived a couple of weeks ago and I was like a small child with a new toy, I just couldn't wait to try it out! It has saved me hours and hours of scouring the internet for free tools that I can use in the classroom. I just knew that most of those applications had to exist already but never had time to look for them.” P Roux (Amazon)
“This is the kind of book I was looking for! It has a brief but clear 4 pages of theoretical underpinning and then the bulk of the book is to analyse different ways in which technology can enhance learning in the EFL classroom.” silviamvdeo (Amazon)
