New Technologies − New Directions for Education

New Technologies − New Directions for Education

Date: Tuesday 7 October 2014

Time: 15:00 GMT

For a hundred years or more there have been predictions that technology will transform education. These predictions have largely rung hollow, and a teacher from 100 years ago would clearly recognize the classroom of today. This webinar will provide an overview of how in the near future these predictions are likely to be realized, and this time the face of education, including EFL education, really will be transformed.

A teacher in Japan for 30 years, Joseph Phillips is a professor in the Contemporary Liberal Arts Department of Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College in Tokyo, Japan and is the coordinator of English language courses, for students enrolled in the International Studies major.
