Towards effortless fluency for your high-level learners

This webinar will focus on extending lexis through and beyond texts as the key to ‘effortless’ fluency, using authentic materials and examples from face2face Second Edition. Using CEF descriptors, she will show how teachers can bridge the gap between B2 and C1-C2, and how to help students discuss conceptually difficult topics.

Theresa Clementson has worked in ELT for over twenty years, teaching and developing materials both in Spain and England. She is a test writer for Cambridge English Language Assessment and an author of face2face Advanced level, and English Unlimited. She is currently teaching advanced learners at the University of Brighton, and is interested in the cognitive and affective aspects of second language learning and use, particularly in relation to skills.
