The Great British Shake Off 2018 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
By entering The Great British Shake Off 2018 Prize Draw you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

The promoter is: Cambridge University Press whose registered office is at University Printing House, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 8BS, United Kingdom.

The Prize Draw is open to any individual over the age of eighteen (18)

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.

By entering this prize draw, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Route to entry for the prize draw is by registering details via the entry form available at www.cambridge.org/academic/great-british-shake-2018-prize-draw/

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

Closing date for entry will be Friday 2nd November 2018. After this date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The prize is as follows: One (1) copy of Imagining Shakespeare’s Wife, one (1) copy of NCS: Much Ado About Nothing 3rd edition, one (1) copy of The NCS: The Merchant of Venice 3rd edition, one (1) Shakespeare tea towel, one (1) Shakespeare cookie-cutter and one (1) pack of Macbeth cupcake wrappers. There will be 3 selected winners in total.

To the extent permitted by law, Cambridge accepts no liability in respect of the prizes. They are supplied “as is” with no express guarantee or warranty as to their suitability or quality. Cambridge reserves the right to cancel prize draws at any time. No notification will be entered into.

Winners will be chosen at random by Friday 16th November 2018

Only winners will be contacted

Winners will be emailed by Friday 23rd November. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be delivered.

If local delivery of any prize is unavailable or not possible, we reserve the right to cancel the entry and redraw a replacement winning entry. Please allow at least ninety (90) days for delivery of the prizes, unless otherwise stated.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Entry into the prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Cambridge University Press and not to any other party. Personal data will be deleted from all Cambridge University Press systems for participants who have not chosen to sign up to Cambridge Alerts by 31st December 2018.

Participants who choose to sign up to Cambridge Alerts will have their details added to our mailing list in accordance with their preferences and our Privacy Policy. Preferences can be updated at any time.

Employees of Cambridge University Press, or their associated companies, and employees of any agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw are not eligible to participate.

No bulk, third party or automated entries permitted or those submitted via macros or similar. Cambridge may disallow entries, refuse to award any prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.

Cambridge accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or rendered invalid due to incorrect participant data, lack of network coverage, system, software or hardware failure or for any other reason beyond its control. Entries that are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions and/or that are delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or otherwise defective will be disqualified.

Cambridge reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes, in its sole discretion, to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Cambridge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of them) are governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
