I Discover

I Discover is a carefully-graded and activity-based five-level science series for schoolchildren. The books are structured in a manner that enables ‘learning without a burden’. Science is taught here as a living body of knowledge in which the students are encouraged and guided to make exploratory forays of their own. The content is divided into thematic units. The books adopt an activity-oriented approach with a simple and clear style of presentation to make learning of science easy. The textbooks are well-illustrated with numerous photographs, diagrams, tables, flowcharts, etc. Every effort has been made to extend learning beyond the classroom in a holistic manner. The Activities in all the chapters are designed to develop the student’s skill of experimentation. The exercises have also been designed to develop creative and critical thinking skills by including Challenge questions. To further enhance learning, the student’s books are available with an interactive CD-ROM.
