KJV Cameo Reference Edition

Cambridge has been publishing the Cameo Bible for a hundred years.First produced in1925 for letterpress printing, the Cameo has consistently been our most popular edition, highly esteemed for its elegant  Clarendon typeface as well as for useful features such as pronunciation marks, cross-references and a concordance. The beauty of the Cameo is its solution to the age-old problem of providing readable type in a book of manageable size.

The Bibles come in a range of binding styles, but they all have the same familiar layout, and vintage Petit Medieval Clarendon type. Top of the range are the goatskin Bibles, with art-gilt edges as well as superb edge-lined goatskin covers.

One option includes the KJV Apocrypha. Although the Apocrypha were included in the KJV of 1611 and in the succeeding two centuries, they are seldom included in modern editions.

All the Bibles have a concordance and 15 colour maps. The text has pronunciation marks and red-letter text.

  • India paper
  • 15 colour maps
  • red-letter text
  • ribbon markers
  • concordance
  • gilt or art-gilt edges
  • pronunciation marks

Features of edition:

  • classic Cambridge edition

A delightful size Bible to hold and read anywhere. I can sit in my recliner and read it, I can read it in bed and I can read it on my work break. Seldom will you find a combination of form and function like the Cameo.
