German Studies Association Annual Conference

Welcome

Hello and welcome!  We hope that you and families are keeping well in the era of social distancing.  In light of COVID-19 we've decided to take our exhibit stands online.  It’s not like being at the event in person, but we hope it offers at least some semblance of normality during this challenging time.  Below you will find a list of the books we would have had on display, as well as information on who to contact if you are interested in publishing with us.  We've also increased our online discount so that being at home doesn't mean you have to miss out on conference prices, if you're in the market for a good book that is.  If not, then perhaps just close your eyes for a moment and pretend you’re in the exhibit hall, about to head off to the wine reception or grab a coffee…

And now that you've got yourself that all important drink, how about a quick word with some of our editors:

Message from the Editor

German history is one of the cornerstones of Cambridge’s History list, and the GSA meeting offers a wonderful opportunity to meet with scholars from all around the world, and to begin and continue many fascinating and productive conversations.  I am truly sorry that we won’t have a chance to meet in person this year, but please do contact me with any proposals or questions about Cambridge’s German history list. I would also be very happy to talk by phone or Skype/Microsoft Teams.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Liz Friend-Smith

Free Shipping

It’s not your fault that you can’t buy a book from us in person at the moment so we will also be offering free shipping on all online orders for books included in this promotion.  For full terms and conditions please visit www.cambridge.org/freeconferencedelivery
