Law & Society Association Annual Meeting
Welcome
Hello and welcome! We hope that you and families are keeping well in the era of social distancing. In light of COVID-19 we've decided to take our exhibit stands online. It’s not like being at the event in person, but we hope it offers at least some semblance of normality during this challenging time. Below you will find a list of the books we would have had on display, as well as information on who to contact if you are interested in publishing with us. We've also increased our online discount so that being at home doesn't mean you have to miss out on conference prices, if you're in the market for a good book that is. If not, then perhaps just close your eyes for a moment and pretend you’re in the exhibit hall, about to head off to the wine reception or grab a coffee….
And now that you've got yourself that all important drink, how about a quick word from one of our editors:

Cambridge University Press is a not-for-profit publisher that dates from 1534 and is part of the University of Cambridge. We have an established and ever expanding academic law list in public and private law subjects crossing books and journals aimed at a global readership. Particular strengths lie in international law, human rights and transitional justice, transnational and comparative law, jurisprudence, legal history, inter-disciplinary, and socio-legal studies.
Although we're unable to see you in person, we encourage you to meet with us virtually. You can also visit our virtual stand to browse our latest publications. All the books we have on display are available for purchase at a 30% discount using code 100313.
Journals
If journals are more your thing, then here are a few that we think might be of particular interest.

Join the editors of Law & Social Inquiry to discuss the often-mystifying process of submitting to a peer-reviewed journal. What makes a good abstract? How should I respond to revisions? How can I ask for an extension? Publishing in a journal can be confusing and stressful—the editors of LSI are here to help. Check out the session on Thursday at 9am CT.
Cambridge is proud to publish Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics and American Journal of Law & Medicine, the journals of ASLME, beginning in 2021. Learn more about this exciting new partnership at www.cambridge.org/aslme
