In this 1925 edition of his book, first published in 1914, Morris sets out a history of Europe from the 16th century to 1914, with the assistance of eight useful genealogical tables of the ruling families of Europe and nine detailed maps. Morris' book is an interesting study in British attitudes to Europe immediately before the First World War, and will be of use to anyone with an interest in the development of Europe up to the 20th century.
