Bookshelf closure FAQs
The Cambridge Bookshelf website and mobile apps have become unavailable. Details for accessing your eBook are available at bookshelf.cambridge.org.
Most of our eBooks have moved to Cambridge One where you can activate them using a valid Bookshelf access code. Find out how your eBook is affected by selecting it in the menu at bookshelf.cambridge.org.
Cambridge One is your new home for digital learning. There you'll find a wide range of activities, resources and tools to support your teaching and learning with Cambridge.
You can access your eBook in a web browser on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. You can also download your eBook and use it offline on your computer with the Cambridge One Desktop App.
No, if you don't have a Cambridge One account yet, please sign up using your email address.
If you haven't copied your access code before Bookshelf closed, you might still be able to find it inside the front cover of your printed book. If not, please contact our Support team at ptsupport@cambridge.org quoting the email address of your Bookshelf account and the eBook title.
- Sign up or log in at www.cambridgeone.org
- When asked to enter an activation code, copy and paste your Bookshelf access code. Cambridge One will automatically add hyphens. The code may then look like this: 53ee-0c0e-41b4-c or like this: 53ee-0c0e-41b4-c56f-uy56-iw81-u0as-74m9
- Submit the code (with the hyphens) to activate your eBook
If you can't get your access code because Bookshelf has already closed or for any other reason, you might still be able to find it inside the front cover of your printed book. If not, please contact our Support team at ptsupport@cambridge.org quoting the email address of your Bookshelf account and the eBook title.
Yes, most eBooks can be activated by teachers as well as students. However, some eBooks in Cambridge One can only be activated by student accounts. All of these eBooks are included in the Presentation Plus tool for teachers, and you don't need to activate them separately. Please reach out to our Support team at ptsupport@cambridge.org if you need assistance.
Unfortunately, no, the Bookshelf mobile apps have been disabled.
