Stephen Murrell

Stephen has been teaching English as a foreign language for over 27 years. He started his teaching career as a Communications lecturer in higher education in the UK before going to Greece to work as an EFL teacher in 1981. He moved to Italy and opened his own school in Tuscany in 1985.

Stephen has developed courses for a wide range of ESP areas, including English for railway commuters and recreational English courses for passengers on cruise ships and holiday camps. For the last twelve years he has focussed on maritime English and has worked with many major shipping companies.
