Peer Review: The Nuts and Bolts workshop sponsored by Cambridge
Recent surveys of the academic community have uncovered a pressing need to provide better training and guidelines to early career researchers undertaking peer review.
With this in mind, Cambridge University Press is delighted to be sponsoring a free workshop in May which will be run by Sense about Science, Peer Review: The nuts and bolts. The session will cover the basics of conducting effective reviews, as well as discussing how peer review contributes to the publication of high quality research.
The half-day workshop is ideally suited to early career researchers aiming to learn more about peer review, and is free of charge. It takes place on Friday 13th May 2016, 2pm – 5pm at the SAGE offices in central London.
To apply to attend this workshop, please contact Joanne Thomas at jthomas@senseaboutscience.org by Wed 4th May.
