Adobe Air software update.
"Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author"
If you encounter this error message, please follow the relevant instructions (for Windows PC or Mac) in the documents below. Click to download the guide applicable to your system settings.

As part of this process you must download an installer file to your desktop. Please download the relevant software update, using the two lists below.
If you encounter issues downloading the patch for your product please try using an alternate browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, or contact our support team at ptsupport@cambridge.org for further assistance.
NB:Internet Explorer appears to download some installer files as '.MAN' files rather than '.AIR'. If you encounter this when using Internet Explorer please use an alternate browser (e.g. Chrome). If you are unable to use an alternate browser, please try the following
- When the file is downloaded your computer may ask you which application to open the file in, if this happens please choose Adobe Air, which should automatically open and run the file (even with '.MAN' extension)
- When saving the downloaded file, manually add '.AIR' to the end of the file name, which will convert the '.MAN' file and save it as an Adobe Air file

Installing classware on Mac OSX 10.13
If you are unable to install the software on Mac OSX 10.13 or later, please follow the relevant instructions in the document below.

"Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported" error message
"Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported - The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use the -i command-line option, followed by the UI mode identifier. The vaild UI modes identifiers are GUI, Console, and Silent."
If you encounter this error message, please follow the instructions below:
- Right click the installer file
- Select Properties
- Click on the compatibility Tab
- Select the "Run this Program in Compatibility Mode for" tick box
- Choose Windows 7 (or an earlier operating system) from the drop down list
- Select "apply"
- Double-click your installer file
"No content" error message
"No content"
If you encounter this error message, please follow the instructions below:
- When you receive the "no content" error message, select Browse
- Use the Browse tool to navigate to the location in which you installed the content originally. By default this is: Programs x86 > Cambridge > Cambridge Content
