The room features a solid oak table fixed in an open rectangle, with individual lights, generous leather chairs, an 80 inch LED screen, advanced video-conferencing facilities and, its centrepiece, the breathtaking Oriel window. Every book published by Cambridge University Press, receives its official stamp of approval right here in the Oriel Room.
Our largest room offers the ideal environment for a variety of meetings and events. Just off The Pitt Building’s impressive reception area, the Darwin Room is a versatile and spacious ground-floor conference suite with climate control, an abundance of natural light, built-in A/V equipment and Wi-Fi internet access.
Also on the ground floor, the Newton Room has a more intimate feel. With all the technical specifications of the Darwin Room, this room is ideal for training sessions or smaller boardroom meetings. The two rooms are connected by the rear reception area which can be used for refreshments or display space.
The Bentley Room has recently been refurbished to the highest modern standards. The room is of generous proportions and offers high-specification, built-in widescreen projection facilities, Wi-Fi internet access and magnetic walls for displays.
One of two adjoining rooms on the first floor, the Cass Room is a light, airy room ideal for meetings and training courses. It features a wall-mounted LCD screen and Wi-Fi internet access. There is an interconnecting door to the Wright Room.
On the first floor, with dual aspect windows, the Wright Room features a wall-mounted LCD screen suitable for presentations. The book-lined walls create a quiet, studious atmosphere making it an ideal space for interviews, boardroom meetings or a syndicate room for larger meetings.
A compact room on the first floor, suitable for smaller meetings. It is often hired for use in addition to another meeting room or as a conference office, and has a multi-drinks station for delegates benefit.
