Welcome

Hello and welcome! We hope that you and families are keeping well in the era of social distancing. In light of COVID-19 we've decided to take our exhibit stands online. It’s not like being at the event in person, but we hope it offers at least some semblance of normality during this challenging time. Below you will find a list of the books we would have had on display, as well as information on who to contact if you are interested in publishing with us. We've also increased our online discount so that being at home doesn't mean you have to miss out on conference prices, if you're in the market for a good book that is. If not, then perhaps just close your eyes for a moment and pretend you’re in the exhibit hall, about to head off to the wine reception or grab a coffee….

Message from the editors

Jamie McIntyre (Senior Commissioning Editor, Humanities and Social Sciences Journals, Cambridge University Press, UK) joined the Press in 2010 after a spell as a postdoctoral researcher in classics. He’s responsible for journals across the HSS list and leads on the classics and archaeology titles.  

Beatrice Rehl: Greetings!  I was so looking forward to meeting you at the SAA conference.  Fortunately, technology enables us to connect by alternative means.  Do send me your proposals  --  I am especially interested in topics on the archaeology of China, the Ancient Near East, the ancient Mediterranean world, and ancient North, Meso-, and South America.  I am also available to discuss your publication plans via telephone. I look forward to hearing from you!
