Learn English with Cambridge Launch

Learn English with Cambridge Launch

We began our search for ELT teachers to be presenters of our new YouTube channel by asking for a 2 minute video lesson submission. After receiving a huge 700 entries in to the competition, our panel whittled them down to a top 10, based on their content and experience.

The final 10 went in to a world-wide public vote, where nearly 5,000 people voted for their favourite presenter, and we were able to announce who the faces of our YouTube channel would be – Greg, Maria, George, Andres and Rebecca.

Since the presenters were chosen, Greg, Maria, George and Andres have visited Cambridge, where they met each other, received their filming equipment, and undertook training on video production and editing techniques. As you will see from Rebecca’s introductory video on the channel, she had a very special reason for not coming to Cambridge with the other presenters, but she visited our Sao Paulo team in Brazil instead.

Following their training, the presenters have been eager to get started on their videos. Today, we are pleased to be able to share the new channel with you – head over to Learn English with Cambridge to find out more about each presenter and what they’ll be teaching in their upcoming videos.  You will also find Greg’s first lesson on alternatives to saying ‘How are you?’ in the real world.  Don’t forget to subscribe to watch a new video every week!

Keep an eye on what’s coming up on our YouTube channel, by following our new Instagram page.
