Conference Attendance Update
24th March, 2020
In response to updated guidance regarding the need for a more prolonged period of social distancing and travel restrictions we have, with regret, extended our decision to cancel attendance at academic conferences until the end of August. Our team will work with conferences organisers where possible to offer other forms of support to these communities. In the meantime, we are increasing the online discount to 30% to match the discount we would have offered delegates at the conference.
Conference Attendance
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Academic publishing group at Cambridge University Press has taken the regrettable decision to cancel all attendance at academic conferences and events until the end of April. We feel that this is the right decision to minimise any risks to our team and to the wider community. We will keep the situation under review and may revise our position in May. We have not taken this decision lightly as we know how important academic conferences are to the community and our publishing partners. Where possible we will work with customers and partners on alternatives approaches to achieve the conference or event aims.
