"Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author"

"Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported" error message

"Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported - The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use the -i command-line option, followed by the UI mode identifier. The vaild UI modes identifiers are GUI, Console, and Silent."

If you encounter this error message, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Right click the installer file
  2. Select Properties
  3. Click on the compatibility Tab
  4. Select the "Run this Program in Compatibility Mode for" tick box
  5. Choose Windows 7 (or an earlier operating system) from the drop down list
  6. Select "apply"
  7. Double-click your installer file

"No content" error message

"No content"

If you encounter this error message, please follow the instructions below:

  • When you receive the "no content" error message, select Browse
  • Use the Browse tool to navigate to the location in which you installed the content originally. By default this is: Programs x86 > Cambridge > Cambridge Content
