Mathematics for the IB Diploma

These resources have been written specifically for the IB Diploma Mathematics and Mathematical Studies syllabuses and contain all the support students need to succeed in this subject. The significance of mathematics for modelling and practical applications is a prominent theme throughout, making mathematics relevant to the real world, with Theory of Knowledge, internationalism and applications links to help students to appreciate the broader contexts of the mathematics. GDC guidance is integrated throughout, with a dedicated GDC chapter for those needing more support. Exam hints and IB exam questions in the chapters will start preparing students for their exams right from the beginning. When students come close to their assessments the chapter containing sample exam papers will provide good practice and the chapter on guidance to the internal assessment will support students in writing their project. The text is accompanied by free teacher resources online.
