Biophysical Society Annual Meeting
Welcome
Hello and welcome! We hope that you and families are keeping well in the era of social distancing. In light of COVID-19 we've decided to take our exhibit stands online. It’s not like being at the event in person, but we hope it offers at least some semblance of normality during this challenging time. Below you will find a list of the books we would have had on display, as well as information on who to contact if you are interested in publishing with us. We've also increased our online discount so that being at home doesn't mean you have to miss out on conference prices, if you're in the market for a good book that is. If not, then perhaps just close your eyes for a moment and pretend you’re in the exhibit hall, about to head off to the wine reception or grab a coffee….
And now that you've got yourself that all important drink, how about a quick word from one of our editors:

We are proud to launch the new open access journal Biological Imaging which is now open for submissions. Biological Imaging will provide a single forum for important bio imaging research that uses quantitative and computational imaging at its core and enables discoveries and advances in biology from the molecular to tissue scales. Contact us at biologicalImaging@cambridge.org to learn more.

Launched in 2020, Quantitative Plant Biology is an open access journal, co-published by Cambridge University Press and The John Innes Centre with the aim of providing an interdisciplinary forum for high quality research on ground-breaking discoveries and predictions in quantitative plant science. We have published the first papers, and are welcoming new submissions. Please see the journal’s webpage for further details. Contact us at quantplantbio@cambridge.org.

In 2020, Cambridge University Press was pleased to announce the open access title QRB Discovery. The journal promises those working in the field a fast, transparent way to publish cutting edge results with a focus on biological phenomena that can be described and analysed from a molecular angle. For further information about the new publication, details about submissions and for details about the parent journal, Quarterly Reviews of Biophysics (QRB), please contact us at biophysics@cambridge.org.

If journals are more your thing, then here are a few that we think might be of particular interest.
