International Federation of Theatre Research Conference 2020
Welcome
Hello and welcome! We hope that you and families are keeping well in the era of social distancing. In light of COVID-19 we've decided to take our exhibit stands online. It’s not like being at the event in person, but we hope it offers at least some semblance of normality during this challenging time. Below you will find a list of the books we would have had on display, as well as information on who to contact if you are interested in publishing with us. We've also increased our online discount so that being at home doesn't mean you have to miss out on conference prices, if you're in the market for a good book that is. If not, then perhaps just close your eyes for a moment and pretend you’re in the exhibit hall, about to head off to the wine reception or grab a coffee….
And now that you've got yourself that all important drink, how about a quick word from one of our editors:
Editor Profile
Name: Emily Hockley
Title: Commissioning Editor
Contact: To find out more about Emily's publishing background and how to get in touch, please click here
In the absence of an in-person meeting this summer, do feel free to email me your proposals and browse our latest books. I’m delighted that the first in our new series of Cambridge Companions to Theatre and Performance has just published – the wonderful Cambridge Companion to International Theatre Festivals, edited by Ric Knowles. Looking ahead, I’m pleased to announce two forthcoming series: Women Theatre Makers edited by Elaine Aston and Melissa Sihra and Theatre and the Political edited by Trish Reid and Liz Tomlin. Get in touch for more information or if you would like to submit a proposal.
Journals
If journals are more your thing, then here are a few that we think might be of particular interest.

30% Discount
We have increased our online discount to 30% to match the offer that would have been available to delegates at our conference stand. Please contact orders@cambridge.org with your order details and reference the conference discount code noted below.
