The main motivation for this important new series of books is a large and still growing need for information and learning which has been created by the wireless revolution of the last 15 years. Consumer products such as mobile phones are underpinned by RF/microwave technology, which is developing rapidly. The series will publish books on both fundamental RF/microwave topics and on specific topical application areas for engineers who need to be brought up to speed on new developments. The market for these books will be among practising engineers, academic and industrial researchers, and graduate students.
