NRSV Study Apocrypha

This is a facsimile edition of the late Howard Clark Kee's NRSV Study Apocrypha, first published by Cambridge in 1994.

As a translation, the NRSV benefits from twentieth-century advances in linguistic and archaeological scholarship, for example, the Dead Sea Scrolls. The NRSV Apocrypha comprise all the deuterocanonical texts approved by the Protestant, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches. For a full list, see here: New_Revised_Standard_Version_Apocrypha.pdf

Professor Kee's work includes introductions to every individual book as well as to the Apocrypha as a whole, shedding new light on the 'hidden texts' of the world of the Bible.
