Can you spot it?: Encouraging observation in your students
Date: Tuesday 07 March
Time: 15:00
Some children (and grown-ups) are really good at spotting things, aren’t they? Differences, similarities, details, mistakes… Anne Robinson is here, to discuss ‘spotting’. It's a useful habit to have, and it's important to encourage our students to develop and use this when learning English and taking English tests. In this webinar, we’ll explore these issues and share ways of developing the skills of spotting and noticing. We'll take a look at examples related to the updated 2018 Cambridge English: Young Learners tests, including the new writing tasks in Movers and Flyers!
Anne Robinson has been teaching young learners and adults for over 20 years. She has given seminars at many different conferences, and is based in Spain (where she is the Senior Presenter for Cambridge ESOL). She is also the author of Fun for Starters, Fun for Movers and Fun for Flyers (aimed at 7-13 year olds)!
