The Association for the Study of Nationalities (ASN) has cancelled its 2020 Annual World Convention due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus. As a result, we will provide refunds to all who paid registration fees in anticipation of the convention. Since in many cases annual ASN membership fees were bundled together with registration payments, ASN also is offering the option to receive a refund of the annual membership fee that you may have paid when you registered for the convention. Nonetheless, ASN hopes that you might consider maintaining your 2020 membership (and decline the membership fee refund), since memberships both provide access to ASN’s flagship journal, Nationalities Papers, and are an important source of revenue and community for the association.
Please complete the form below and confirm whether you would like to retain your 2020 annual ASN membership status, or whether you would like Cambridge University Press to refund both the 2020 convention registration fee and the ASN annual membership fee. (Please note that cancelling your membership also cancels access to Nationalities Papers.)
If you have any questions related to the registration refund process, please contact ASN Convention Registration Manager Kelsey Davis Felder: firstname.lastname@example.org; for any questions related to the Annual World Convention itself, please contact ASN Convention Academic Director Dominique Arel: email@example.com.
ASN deeply appreciates all that its members contribute throughout the year and looks forward to the relaunch of its 25th Anniversary Convention scheduled for May 6-8, 2021!
The deadline for responses is May 31, 2020.
