A routine-based course
Young children love repetition. They want to hear a story time and time again, repeat the songs and the actions... Knowing what they will be doing gives them self-confidence. These are some of the features in Greenman & the Magic Forest that will help your students learn naturally.
A regular unit structure, allowing children to repeat activity types in different contexts.
Each unit is made up of 6 main lessons, which can be extended with extra activities, games and reviews. The course is designed to be implemented in 3 to 5 sessions per week and is easily adapted to different amounts of teaching time and class periods.

A lesson structure with a repeated series of activities that helps them to know what’s coming next.
For each lesson, pupils will find the same stages: Starting the lesson, Routines, Active time, Story time, Table time and Goodbye. This helps them know what comes next and gives them self-confidence. Icons on the Worksheets also show pupils what they have to do at each stage.

The Routine Board, used to start the lesson and to help children identify routine vocabulary.
This board, included within the presentation software Digital Forest, makes a clear focal point for starting each lesson. It helps the pupils identify routine vocabulary for weather, numbers, colours, shapes and birthdays.
