BAtlas Maps 12 D4 and 19 C2 can assist comprehension of these routes. The upper one to Abodiaco from Avgvsta vindelicv is notably circuitous in fact, as the map's distance figures indicate, although a clear basis of comparison is lacking since there is no figure for Adnovas.
